So idk if its just me but I am flipping out. First of all at the bottom the next issue is called "MYCOSIS" which is a disease causes by introducing a fungus into the body. Secondly from this we can assume it is a fungus avatar who may be part of a different Parliament. Thirdly this parliament was the basis for Doug Wheelers almost entire run of Swamp Thing (vol. 2) after he picks it up when Rick Veitch leaves. But be warned this is all subject to change considering the fact that writer Charles Soule may take this to a whole new direction. Finally we can be sure that this is going to include the Grey (for more info see spoiler text) after reading the preview for Swamp Thing: Future End and new characters like the Avatar of Bacteria and Metal? Weird but this gives Soule some room to experiment without any solid commitment. Can't wait for issue #31!!!
For those that don't know the Grey was supposed to be the enemy of the Green, kind of like the Rot before New 52. It is led by Matango: a fungus that took over an avatar of the Green. He was the sole avatar of the Grey and was at peace with the Green, but his need for power caused a war between the Grey and Green. He had been laying dormant until he was awakened by Swamp Thing's visit to Hell, to bring back his daughter Tefé Holland. This is all pre-N52 stuff so it may change.
