since swamp thing can beat superman does that make him earths most powerful hero?

Swamp Thing has always been one of earths most powerful beings.

@ratman19: The only thing that limits Swamp Thing is climate of certain locations. He is all powerful in areas of high vegetation but get him in a desert or probably a frozen area and his power is limited.

Swamp thing can also transfer his consciousness across the planet to a place where there is vegetation and regenerate himself so even if you put him in the desert he wont be there for long.

They haven't addressed the damn White ring thing! Blackest Night is supposed to have happened yet there's no record in the New 52 of Swamp Thing having White Lantern powers? Aagh New 52 continuity is confusing.

Superman being the most powerful earth hero has always been incorrect since the 1985 Crisis on Infinite Earth reboot. There are litterally dozens of earth based heroes more powerful then him in DC: Martian Manhunter, Doctor Fate, Firestorm the Nuclear Man, Majestic, Swamp Thing, etc.@Ms. Omega said:

This is incorrect. Swamp thing is so powerful he can even travel to the vegetation of Alien Worlds far outside of our solar system. This was established by Alan Moore. Swamp Thing is the avatar of the Green, he is a god-elemental empowered the by the divine power of the Green.

@timelord786: idk i just heard from other viners that swamp thing has beaten superman because superman was infected with some kryptonian plant and swamp thing fought him and held back while doing it and that he beat batman even when he prepped for it. im pretty new to swamp thing i just started reading him with the new-52 so my pre-new 52 knowledge of him is limited.

Who else has he fought besides Superman and Captain Atom?
