Pat Broderick's artist credit is for a two-page "Who's Who Update" featured at the back of the book. That same feature is Swamp Thing's only appearance apart from a one-panel cameo in the back-up. He is not present for the stories themselves as he was lost in time.
Ironically, while this was supposed to be the launching point for Gaiman's work on the main series, due to Veitch's story featuring Jesus Christ being denied, Gaiman chose not to work on Swamp Thing.
