    At this point in the series it becomes clear that Len Wein's intent with Swamp Thing is to make him a wandering adventurer in the mold of Roy Thomas' version of Conan. This is not necessarily a bad thing - while taking a swamp creature out of a swamp seems a little questionable, it gives the protagonist the ability to encounter a wide range of characters, such as the Puritan townsfolk of Divinity, Maine, in this issue.  While this is not a very noteworthy issue in terms of story (although it doe...
