Where's the Swamp? 0

Issue 4 has come and been digested. Being a fan of the big swamp cabbage before Vertigo ruined it, I was looking forward to the new series. Those who read my comments know I suggested a "swampy" connection in Brightest Day long before it was announced. So far, this series still has my interest but has been disappointing as well. Issue 4? The Good. So far, the story line is almost decent. I suppose the "ROT" has replaced the original "Gray" of the fungi kingdom. Strange though since ALL thin...

Swamp Thing is the best horror comic out there right now. I would be surprised if when these stories are collected in trade format if this story arc isn't at least nominated for a Bram Stoker Award. William, the villain of the piece is a pretty unique and creepy enemy. Once again, it's hard to find any fault in either writing or artwork, both seem to be top notch. If you aren't reading Swamp Thing, you're really missing out!...

MARCO RUDY EVERYBODY! 0

The Good: Yannick Paquette gives us another damn good cover. Creepy as hell, dark and hauntingly empty, and with that little touch of a border that always makes the covers. Oh my god YES. Nothing at ALL again Yanick Paquette, but this issue we have MARCO RUDY. This man is second ONLY to J.H. Williams III when it comes to panel layouts. Rudy is a MASTER of these. Though his actual artwork isn't anything ridiculously remarkable, it is still VERY good overall, and reaches levels of mastery through ...
