Swiftly becoming a favorite title of mine!
This issue continues to ratchet up the squirmy horror content of this consistently excellent series. The tone is dark, the characters thus far are strong, the story is intriguing (especially if you're reading "Animal Man" as well), and the horror content is is impressively creepy. In this issue, the horror element might actually be truly shocking in that it deals with children in a far braver way than mainstream companies are generally willing to do. And this is coming from a hard-core, desensitized gore-hound.
I already can't wait for the next issue.
