Swamp Thing has been a series that I have quite enjoyed. does Issue #3 keep up the pace of Swamp Thing or are things going a little sluggish. I think that this the best issue of Swamp Thing yet!  THE GOOD: I really like the art. It's very beautiful and I think that it gives Swamp Thing a certain tone that is unmatched in anything else DC Comics currently publishes. Swamp Thing has always been an elemental force of godlike power, with little that could take him down. While Alec Holland is no longer Swamp Thing, it's looking like he will be "exercising his green thumb" for the good of plant- and man-kind. In one panel he looks like a Darkness-esque symbiote of man and magic. That'd make for a much more vulnerable hero than the classic Swamp Thing (who could abandon any body and grow a new one in whatever shape he liked).And he'll be up against something powe...

“We Are The Effect We Have On Our Friends” 0

Both Animal Man and Swamp Thing have been really upping the game and bringing a horror component to the New 52 that I think the line mostly lacks. I’m not normally into the crazy gore or horror movies, but the mythology they’re building, while simplistic, is still pretty cool.
