    Abby, Cable, Bolt and a scientist named Professor Degrez track down and capture the Swamp Thing in the Louisiana bayou. They take him back to Washington, D.C. where Degrez runs tests on the man-monster. But, when Lt. Cable learns that Swamp Thing is really Alec Holland, he comes up with a desperate scheme to free his long-lost friend!

    Let me tell you a story:  A big green man-monster stalks the countryside.  Agents of the government, armed with high-tech weapons track the beast down, capture it and bring it back to Washington D.C. where it's held in a special containment cell to be studied.  Enraged the beast breaks free, but is subdued and re-confined.  But a few people know that the beast is actually their friend, a mild-mannered scientist who was transformed into the behemoth by a freak accident, and they plan to break him...
