A sadistic serial killer who took upon herself to kill murderers and rapists as vengeance for the things committed to her.
Gretchen Culver was critically injured in a traffic accident while she was fleeing from John Mawbley, a serial killer. She regains consciousness while being raped by the police and ambulance attendants, where she is beaten unconsciousness again. They deliver her to another serial killer for disposal. There she is violently murdered by the serial killer, she is then found and is literally stitched back to life and imbued with special powers by a mysterious gypsy woman. Now, living amongst her new family in the gypsy community, Gretchen becomes Suture and goes after serial killers and her rapists. Her methods however are as brutal as those of her own murderers as she tears up he victims and then sews the bodies back up.
