razzatazz's Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #89 - The Bride of Batman! review

    Going to get married

This issue is written with a “what if?” concept as it investigates an imaginary love between Bruce Wayne and Lois Lane.  I have never read an issue that I can recall with so much going on but which was held together so well.  It is not as though this is a great issue by modern standards, but anyone looking for a campy classic might find it here.  It has among other things mod girl Wonder Woman, a wedding, a jealous Superman, a super hero baby and the old identity switcheroo to keep an alter ego safe.  I wasn’t sure about some parts here, including Lois being psychologically tortured, but all in all this is an issue which if it doesn’t have all the parts going for it, sure delivered on enough of them to be fun and entertaining.

      Odd Imaginary Story 0

A full length Lois imaginary story. Begins interestingly enough as we find out that Bruce Wayne has always had a "thing" for Lois and when Superman is once again too busy for Lois (he's on a mission with Wonder Woman), Bruce has his opportunity and starts a romance with her. Before you know it they fall in love, get married, Bruce reveals to Lois that he's Batman, and soon Bruce Wayne Jr. is born. Robin doesn't quite know what to make of all this but goes about helping to train this young Batma...
