    Given my general distaste for the sillier aspects of the early Superman stories, I expected to hate Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane thoroughly. But after reading this issue I found that the story wasn't any sillier than some of the things found in Superman's own book. More frivolous perhaps, but not necessarily sillier.  In this story, Lois is sent by Perry White to cover a wrestling match (which it seems was every bit as rehearsed and theatrical in the 1950s as it is today).
