What comic book artist, no matter how unrealistic the possibility, would you most want to see given the chance to handle art duties on a Superman comic? I found the following image the other day in a thread on another site dealing with alternate takes on Action Comics #1 and it instantly made me want to see Jonathan Hickman come over from Marvel to draw (and write) a Superman series. Who would you pick?

In that case, I'd like to see the dynamic duo of Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker take a crack at Superman. Not really sure how it would turn out, but I'm sure it'ed be interesting one way or another.

Yeah, that's what I originally had in mind. I have a long list of comic artists I'd want to see draw more Superman (Alex Ross, John Byrne, Curt Swan...) as well as a list of non-comic book artists I'd like to see enter the medium (Drew Struzan, Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell...), but I limited myself in this thread to simply comic book artists who haven't worked on him before.

Come to think of it, has Greg Land ever drawn a Superman comic (though to be honest, I'd be more interested in seeing Lois, Lana, Kara, and Diana make appearances in the book more so than Clark himself).

I feel like I'm the only person on the internet that likes Jim Lee but I was going to say him but I realized him and Scott Snyder are doing a Superman comic this summer (IMO best or top 5 DC writer best DC artist or top 5 should be a dream team) but hows about Greg Capullo or Charlie Adlard. I love what James Stokoe has done with Godzilla so I'd like to see him do Supes as well.

If i could go back in time, I would love to see Frank Frazetta draw Superman.

How about Akira Toriyama?

i liked the drawings of superman from jim lee,greg capullo and kenneth rocafort.but to me the late michael turner did the best job of drawing superman,batman and wolverine.i wish that he was alive so he can draw him again in new 52 costume
