Don't be silly, we all know Clark Kent is just an awkward newspaper reporter. Bruce Wayne is clearly Superman, why else would he be fighting Luthor all the time? Their companies aren't exactly allies.

Actually, I see that as a great compliment, but thats just me.

If you want a comparison to a normal person... Superman is a super talented polymath athlete who lives in a world that is corrupt, lazy, world that and he follows the rules of the world, trying to be the best and most moral person he can be, seeking truth. Unfortunately the world doesn't like truth. It may claim it does, but it really doesn't and because of this people have a problem accepting him. And he has a problem with the world. He tries to do everything right, but sometimes that means hard decisions and that mean you have to tell people wrong when they are. He knows how much easier would be to stop caring, but it's built into him to care and as such that external conflict turns internal and he has a hard time dealing with the world.

Unfortunately, the writers of Superman are generally deluded children that don't have any experience with that type of person. Oh well.
