I think as of right now, it is poorly written, and ignored by a lot of writers who are writing their own "fan fic" rather than a cohesive story (Azzarello!!).

I love the relationship and I hate that writers cant go a few months without having clark pine for Lois. can he be in a relationship with someone besides her please??? let him be affectionate and romantic with Diana for a while then that lays the foundation for a layered character whenever he does inevitably end up with lois.

in the superman/ wonder woman comic he seems to have pretty much deep feelings for her. Hell he killed a guy for blasting her with an attack that wouldn't have harmed her in any way.
