I'm with you on breaking up the blue monotone. I don't know, the red briefs are acceptable to me when the costume is designed by Martha. I think that he would wear it because his mum made it for him is kind of charming.

Well, it certainly makes more sense that being Krypton made. Then again, you never know how fashion will be in the future :P
I just haven't seen anything breaking the monotone yet. The suits look very empty in the waist since the new 52.

Maybe. The best I have seen the no brief suits look like is a wrong rendering in New 52 JLA #1 were the belt was yellow instead of red.

I definitely know what you are saying about the blue needing to be broken up. If you look at these pictures, you can even see the artist intentionally shield the crotch area where the red briefs should be because it looks kind of off without them.

I was really hoping that Superman would've put his fist through DS for a final blow with the series going out on a Super high but, NOoooo..sigh....the writers mess that one up by introducing some cheap" agony net" stating that it could be fine tuned to someone's frequency!

90s Superman (my very first look at him as a child), Golden Age Superman, Earth One Superman, and of course, DCEU Superman. I love the fact that he can be as much an aggressive brawler as he is the ultimate nice guy. Even more so, I love the fact that he can be hurt internally and struggle emotionally despite his physical advantages; hence my high interest in the Earth One and DCEU versions.

I also like the Calvin Ellis Superman from Earth-23 and Overman from Earth-10 (wish DC was smart enough to give them their own comics)
