In a way they are somewhat different. In the Bronze Age, which was also Pre-Crisis, he did not seem as powerful as he was in the Silver Age. I remember one user posted scans showing Superman from the Silver Age moving planets with ease and then showed one from the Bronze Age where he was sweating and struggling to move Earth.

As for this thread, I say it's the Thought Robot Superman.

All Star Superman is definitely up there.

All Star Superman could lift 200 quinttillion tons(my scan is called "superman's strength).

Yeah and pre-flashpoint can pull 2.2 sextillion tons from orbit. AS Superman is below post-crisis Superman IMO and not really closer to SA as others might think. It should be noted though that AS Supes' 200 quintillions is not the limit as he was only using one hand and it was stated that he was still growing in power as the miniseries progressed.

With that said: Here's my list.

1. Superman thoughtbot -Above any monitor and beyond the multiverse itself.

2. SA Superman with Sword of Superman (full potential) -Pre crisis levels amped with omnipotence. Unfortunately, he didn't accept the whole deal.

3. Superman Prime One Million -Supposedly omnipotent but lacked the feats. He even needed Lois's DNA in order to resurrect her. Not true omnipotent in my book.

4. SA/BA Superman -Both eras of Superman kinda fluctuates a lot. PIS meisters.

5. GA (Earth 2 Pre Crisis) Superman -He was able to beat SA Superman once. He is a wee bit below the younger Supes. Kinda jobbed in IC. Lame.

6. Superboy Prime -Emo kid has SA levels of power but a bit underdeveloped. Maybe equal with KC Superman.

7. Post Crisis Superman (right before Flashpoint) -Gaining enormous feats. Definitive Superman if you ask me. Possibly equal with Red Son. I'm not sure.

8. SA Superman -See post above.

9. Post Crisis Superman (right after retcon aka Byrne's Superman)

10. DCAU Superman -nerfed cartoon version

11. Original 1930s Superman/Fleischer Superman -can only leap, not super strong etc.

I can't place Reeves, Reeve, Cain, Welling in the list cause their powers fluctuate a lot. And also the ones from Superman's legacy and elseworlds stories due to their lack of feats/comparison feats.

Kal Kent has punched back the space time continnum with a single blow(although this drained most of his solar energy reserves), while I believe Silver Age Superman was capable of holding a black hole. Both are impressive feats, but I only think Silver Age Superman is stronger because he has more feats.

You don't divide anything because they are talking about pounds. That's like saying a ton of lead is heavier than a ton of feathers.

Actually that 200 quintillion is debatable.

If they mean pounds in weight with respect to the moon, you would have to divide it to put it into a reference we are familiar with (earth).

If they meant pounds in weight with respect to the earth, then obviously it is that number.

If they meant pounds as in mass, which is generally specified lb(m), then you would not divide it.

Mass remains the same, weight changes.
