Instead of landing in dc's Smallvile, Superman's spaceship passes through a rift in space that take's him from the dc universe to marvel's universe were he crash lands in Asgard were he's raised as a son by Odin, and as a brother to Thor. Is this intriguing?
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18941 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
What If Superman Was Raised In Asgard?
@sandman_: I'm disappointed sandman, it would be Thor with a lot more than just heat vision.
Anyway that's an interesting concept, Loki would be twice as bitter and jealous than he already is.
Superman trained as an Asgardian warrior with possibly an Uru weapon to rival Mjolnir? Man that'd make him unstoppable. Even more of a top tier powerhouse than he is already. Though he may not grow as attached to Midgard and the humans whilst raised in Odin's court so that'd be a bit of a downer since his humanity is his greatest strength. Still, a combination of my two favourite characters is an awesome combination to be sure.
superman and thor would train together and destroy the battlefield! Superman's asgardien name should be kalern, get it? kal-ern
Would asgards star have the same effects?
Assuming it does, he'd probably be a bad ass Out of control.. He would have no need to hide his powers... And he'd probably be far more arrogant.
He'd more powerful, but wouldn't have the same morals and love for humanity. So I wouldn't like him as much
He'd be raised as some sort of norse sun god
Yep!

Totally
From the Marvel wikia: "Asgard is not a sphere like the Earth or Moon, but a relatively flat landmass suspended in space. Asgard does not rotate about its axis, nor does it revolve around a sun. Asgard does have intervals of night and day (of undisclosed durations), so some object or force functions as a sun."
Suffice to say he may end up just being powerless. Unless they took him to Midgard on vacation periodically to absorb yellow sun radiation. :P

Legend has it that there is a god among the asgardiana who is the weakest among them, oy slightly stronger than a mortal. despite od thia he trained the most becoming skilled in combat and when the mortals neededthe gods he was the first to answer. suddenlly. basking in the sun of midgard he felt gmself become physically powerful. a gift for being honerable and kind to midgardians he believed, he used his powers to defend us, and when the time came he realized his place was not on asgard but rather midgard, where he will be a guardian for humans.

Go back in time and put him in the myths!
Thor would be the new Loki
lol yea they would want superman to be king......but then again some versions of thor dont even wannabe king he may be happy for superman lol
Thor cannot be the new Loki, because Thor is the biological son of Odin and both Loki and Supes would be rather a foster brother. Supes may also end up being like Loki. But if he does, Thor would have some serious threat because he's a kryptonian and a god...
Superman, no longer could bare his torment of being a God amongst people. He searched the stars for some remains of his people of Krypton. Upon his darkest and most deep search, he achieves a new ability, and began to glow with red. His powers were multiplying in the vacuum of space, with nothing but himself to console. His grief was great, but his heart was strong. His laser vision burned like never before. It began to tear at the fabric of space, until it created a worm-hole with a vision within. It was of Asgard, and a new hope arised within Superman. As he began to chase the vision of Asgard through this portal, a new light burst upon him, and entered into the Nine Realms.
