Cavill already looks like a Superman. Change his hairstyle to a more “messy” New-52 version, and no one would be wiser.

Movies and comics should be kept separate in my opinion, I dont want to associate Superman with a real life person for various reasons. But most importantly, what happens when Henry does another perhaps really bad movie? That's what we (I) would think about when I saw Superman.

That cover isn't even that good. They should get gary frank to draw a Henry cavill superman.

Didn't they do that with Chris Reeves for a while anyway...?

Naaah! I want Frank to keep doing his "Reeve" Superman while others (perhaps Booth or Reis) can do Cavill. That's Frank's signature Superman look. Only he, with Byrne coming in at a not-so-close second, achieved that accurately Reeve look the way Ross sort of achieved and keeps the George Reeves look of his Superman.

You just reminded me of Jesse Eisenberg being cast as Lex and it took a lot of liquor to make me forget it the first time.

Cavill looks nothing like superman. That really bothered me in his portrayal of supes

@jayc1324: yeah i didn't see it either, he looks good as a superman, but not the way I wanted him portrayed (look wise) in a live action movie.
