yes, but has frank miller ever stated that he hates superman. i know he likes to show him being showed up by batman in his stories. But i dont think hes a straight up superman hater.

Then "The Man of Steel Returns" would probably have a facist Super-Douche and and inept, overhyped vigilante. Don't know if those changes would stick, though.

They would probably have made a "darker" Superman movie too, as opposed to Superman III or IV.

Anyway, Frank Miller is insane. He had a decent run on Daredevil, Dark Knight Returns was epic(Don't get me started on the sequel though), and lest we forget he basically killed the All Star series with his All Star Batman run which gave birth to the infamous meme

"I'm the goddamn Batman!"

Not even counting how he wrote All Star Batman as a deranged, clearly homicidal, and outright twisted person who was more like a crazy person that killed the original Bruce Wayne, stole his identity, and became Batman.

And you ask if this man could write Superman? Yes he COULD write Superman, but be prepared for Clark to repeat the same lines over and over, be possibly mentally disturbed, and most likely say

"I'm the goddamn Superman!"
