    Did he appear on COIE? Did he die? If he was present couldn't he have made the battle a lot easier?

    That being said, WHttMoT was supposed to be an imaginary story. A send-off to Pre-Crisis Superman, silver age style.

    Silver Age Superman and Bronze age Superman were supposedly the same person (E-1 Superman). And when COIE happened all the earths died and became one(E-1 was the basis for the new earth). And that is Pre-52 earth. So Silver age Superman just transformed if you can say it like that in Byrne's Superman.

    Hell of a transformation :P
