So far I've really enjoyed superman beyond, but what's really sad is that not enough people talk about it. All I hear when it comes to superman is either smallville season eleven or grant Morrison's run on action comics. Superman beyond is very underrated these days and I stopped watching smallville after season three. As for action comics I am just not a huge grant Morrison fan and it really lacks what made superman so popular. What are your thoughts on this series. Is it ok, underrated, or something else.
Superman

What do you think of superman beyond?
I'm having a hard time getting each issue each month, for some reason the CBS I go doesn't get each issue in every month so I'm a few issues behind... v__vIt's an interesting twist on his future, but I'm finding it hard to purchase it consistently.

Really? That's odd... It seems that everyone on CBS hates Superman Beyond as there's always at least 6 issues left over :P
I wasn't too crazy about Superman Beyond, I mean like his future counterpart and I like the idea of Lex having a daughter, but I felt he worked better with the Justice League.@War Killer said:

I think what might hurt the series is the fact that it's digital first, print second. Makes me think that DC doesn't have a lot of faith that the series will survive if it were simply print. Personally I wish they would just have three different Beyond comics, that way we get a full twenty-two page comic book for each series instead of just nine or ten pages.
@War Killer: I really, really hate digital comics. First off, because I like the physical aspect of holding my comic and secondly because I despise using my credit all the time.

Unlikely, despite what many believe, the series, along with Batman and Justice League Beyond, are continuations on the DC Animated Universe from which Batman Beyond came from. I think that was just the writer trying to give silent nod to fans of that costume similar to how in the previous Batman Beyond series we saw the Bat-Pod from the Nolan movies. But from what I know, Kingdom Come never happened in this universe.By the way: I saw the Kingdom Come Superman outfit among Clark's other suits. Does that mean that Kingdom Come happened in this universe?

I don't hate them, times change and I'm fine with that. My issue is the fact that having the comics digital first gives the impression that DC doesn't have faith that those series' would do good on their own and in print first. I mean even in just digital we still don't get a full twenty-two page comic but instead get cheap mini-comics that are like eight to ten pages long (possible shorter). Personally I find it unfair to the many fans of the original DCA who loved that universe and the stories that came from it.@War Killer: I really, really hate digital comics.
