Beings below Galactus level. Cosmics are not acceptable. Silver Surfer is, however, because he is below Galactus level.
 
I have thought about this right now, and compiled a list of possible names to add into the list. 
 
The 3 that really stick out for me as I brainstorm are 
 
Doomsday 
Darkseid 
Black Adam
 
Everyone else is either physically weaker than him, or on the same level of physical strength that he is. I include into the equal list characters like Hulk and Thor. I don't think they are above Superman, but I do not think they are physically weaker than him either. 
 
Also, Thanos comes to mind, but with him I have always been on edge about. He has some powerful feats, but at the same time he has these other feats which make me question how strong he really is. I mean, all comic book characters are written differently by different writers, so you understand what I mean. I would think that Thanos is up there near or on par with Superman. 
 
Who do you people think Superman is not stronger than?

people forget  the madder or  the more he doesn't hold back the stronger superman gets and is.  Mind you there are pretty  powerful beings out there, but take into account that about Kal'EL  ask your self this question before you hate on supes

So we're talking about brute strength?  Because he's somewhat vulnerable to magic.  Magic-based characters may get the upper hand.

Screw this crap...Superman's the strongest fictional character ever, and was made to be so. Only other person this blatantly over powered by their creators is the Hulk.

why do people keep saying captain atom is stronger than superman when he never showed to be so except as monarch, classic hulk would be not current, classic thor would be not current, invincible, omni-man are no where near, sentry never showed once except close in void mode, son goku is extremely weak in comparison just energy blast based fighters, hercules has never showed unless talking about the rediclous feat which is like superman holding up infinity or eternity. yes gods could count as cosmic beings at highfather level. Doomsday is slightly stronger, darksieds debatable, black adam in his strongest incarnation would probalby be as stronger+ magic nature.

I said cap since he can't be killed and could manipulate him on a molecular level. Hulk's upper limit of strength is incalculable, but his strength has been displayed inconsistently so you could justify a win or loss based on that. If you're count the non Cannon GT run, Goku has the power to birth/destroy universes. You mentioned feats of strength, so are you defining stronger as meaning displays of strength like lifting, pulling, breaking? Or who'd win a fight?

supermans strength can be unnatural if he spends his time in space near the sun all day just staring at it

Don't think Black Adam qualifies ... last piece I saw between the 2 was in the DC universe online trailer where a pissed off Supes just walked over him ... of course many people may not take that as canon .
