    Though we'll have to wait till next month to see if it's an actual boost or not. Superman cracks 50,000 in Yang's first outing(he deserved it since it was an intriguing book), Action Comics received about a 15k sales boost and Superman and Wonder Woman basically flat lined.

    Marvel's retread gimmicks, Star Wars and new number 1s dominate the top 10.

    Edit: Action only got an 8K boost.

    @saintwildcard: Tomasi looks like he's going into overdrive with SM/WW in the next issue, I think we'll see a boost for SM/WW.

    @superguy1591: AC 40 did 38k and AC 41 44k, so it didn't got a 15k boost :P

    And Superman dropped since Johns last issue (not Romita's issue).

    So I feel the audience that buys these books has been left pretty much the same even with "Truth" and even with DC's promotion about good starting points.

    @squalleon: I did an edit; it was an 8K boost.

    Geoff left at 47K BTW.

    Oh, I just checked, you are partly right Geoff left at 48k

    But the issue went in a second printing afterwards or was that the issue before the last one...I don't remember.

    Anyway the numbers don't look good imo. The first month of a big event, with a huge amount of changes a crossover format (which always end up boost the titles) and with DC's publicity as a good starting point, the numbers are kinda meh.

    I wonder how the numbers of the upcoming mini-series will look?

    Why didn't you just change the number on the beginning and put an edit :P

    Also the bump is 6k man, 6k, 44-38= 6 :P, hehe.

    @squalleon: Close 20% increase is not bad.

    As far as Gene, Geoff only cracked 50,000 once--without reprints.

    I didn't say it was a rousing success, but they got a boost.

    It is a bit when we are talking about so big promotion. But it is expectable since the direction was a dividing one.

    Johns first issue did 90k :P, but it is expected, he is a very popular writer.
