    Well, I'm calling it.

Too many books are focusing on the 'relationships' of Superman with Wonder Woman, and then the end of Forever Evil theorised Batman was in love with Wonder Woman too. And I find all this unnecessary. These are heroes we're talking about, must we get books dedicated to love triangles, etc instead of seeing genuinely great stories?

It's hurting the character, Snyder's Unchained was good because it was Superman, saving the world, doing what needed to be done, instead we have to cope with the mediocre books.

So, the real Superman needs to return, or atleast that character rather than this new, edgy version.

I like the new 52 supes, he seems and feels more "humanized". I've noticed recently that he has more of an "attitude", which I'm okay with actually.

I want post-crisis supes back. New 52 has way too much attitude and it's not fitting for Superman, new 52 Jerkman seems like a grown up less crazy SBP.

Again?.. How often similar threads going to pop out…

Thank you but no thank you, everything ok as it is. Of course, there are some “awkward” moments, but they’re mostly writers’ fault and hardly exclusive only for New-52.

    Apparently

Snyder's Unchained was good because it was Superman, saving the world, doing what needed to be done

So no personal life stuff and just Superman saving the day.

I'm fine with Superman as he is now, he is still depicted as the will try and do the right over the practical type of guy. In essence remembering he is saving people not numbers.

The problem is I've seen comments thrown around in the comics themselves stating he has more of an attitude when he clearly doesn't, the same rubbish they realized they where spouting when kept saying he was the strongest beings on Earth, they caught themselves with that one and he is now referred to as one of

I agree. This Superman is kind of a jerk too. Too impulsive and immature. And a little arrogant. He inspires little hope. Everyone complains about Unchained but I think that's the beat Superman we have seen in new 52.

Has ever been a real Superman? There is so many versions of him that none of them are the real versions of him. Just be respectful of each and every version. What is your Superman may be different from somebody else's.

Have you guys forgot about Superman: Unchained or Greg Pak's Superman? Those on going series are worth it.. but one title is delaying just to take it's time to write a proper book.

I almost agree with this point.....

Superman, and a lot of the big DC heroes, are usually viewed as Paragons of virtue and heroics....New 52 lacks some of the pure heroicness that was something only Captain America from Marvel could hope to achieve.

BUT, lets not act like "Paragon of virtue" Superman is so great....I mean eventually he gets boring and writers want to explore his "dark messiah" side and we end up with another "Evil Superman takes over the world!!!" story. Which is exactly what every superman characterized that way is doing at the moment (Earth 2, JLB, Injustice).

On the other hand I can't see New 52 Superman doing that, he's way to down to earth to try to take it over.

If you look at GA Supes, he was inspired by Hercules (Greco-Roman Mythos, not the comic one) and Samson (Bible). He was supposed to be a champion of the people, taking down those that took advantage of others. Keep in mind Supes was written at the height of the Great Depression when people wanted a hero that take out greedy robber Barron's of the world.

It was always biologically possible, just very, very complicated. Superboy's very existence is evidence enough that Kryptonian and Human DNA are compatible under correct guidance and circumstances. It was also shown to Superman to be a potential possibility by Myx, and Kryptonian/Human hybrid descendants of Superman have been shown in DC One Million and the Legion of Super-Heroes storylines.

Frozen sush. At this point every random fanboy crys abouts Superman being ''edgy'' version of superman. He isn't edgy he is young and can make mistakes. This is something that can help move the character forward. The problem with the New 52 Superman is not the romance with Wonder Woman it is the fact that fanboys cry about everything.

Oliver from Arrow is very similar to GA Supes in terms of his mission and goal. Pretty much if you gave Oliver superhuman speed, strength, and durability. Then took away the wealth and the arrows; you would have GA Supes in a nutshell.

..I understand the concerns about the New 52 Superman but its wrong to say all the comics are bad. I have really enjoyed some of the New 52 books I have read...that said Superman has had some bolshy moments which I haven't liked.
