While I am incredibly geeked for the release of MoS, this cover is only making me think of how I am not very keen on that suit, or the idea of a red-headed Lois.

EDIT: I do have to lol at that I pointed out the 2 things mentioned under the picture.

But really, sue me (and using insults says more about yourself than the people you're claiming are idiots...plus I'd imagine it's against the ToS of CV). I already know I'll love it, but that doesn't mean I can't have individual things I don't like about the "design". Personally I think changing Lois' hair color is stupid just because it'd be so easy to keep it the same (it's like changing a white character black to full a quota, rather than just featuring good black characters. Making her a red-head does not make you (whoever made the decision) "creative" or "original"). She's always been portrayed as dark-haired (IMO it fits the personality she has. I'm a huge Amy Adams fan too, but I'm not sure she'll be able to bring the fire Lois has always had, to the role, she's such a sweetheart).

Yeah, I could care less about what hair color Lois has, and I'm a fan of Amy Adams, so I'm down, can't wait for this movie.

But in all seriousness, I'm curious now. Was this just certain artists, or did all titles portray her this way? How long did this last? Was there ever a known reason for the change?

@lightsout: Lasted about from around after Byrne's run to before OWAW but it was quite an inconsistency. Some had her with darker hair (like the above pic) some with a wee bit lighter (like the below pics). But all had this reddish tint to it.
