Don't you find it funny that earth one(vol1,2) is a fan favorite but the reviews of the book write that it was bad :-P

Its not exactly aimed for Superman purist.

Not sure I'd call it a "fan favorite" to be honest. Everything I've seen being said about it was pretty much neutral.

@Gambit1024: But it is definetely a story that you recommend in new readers!

And not only because it is an origin (you could recommend any other origin) i believe that it is a great tale!

i didn't start a hater thread or a support thread i just find funny the controversy :-P

this, A lot of older superman fans( and some young ones like me) didnt like it because we feel that it takes away the reason we like superman in the first place

Is it a fan favorite? I know it has some fans, but it;s not exactly popular.
