@soldierofel: Will do everything in my power to make sure it stays that way :p
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18940 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Superman/Wonder Woman Appreciation Thread
This one's from a couple of years ago, but still definitely... something. Brazilian band Leva Noiz sing about the Justice League being attacked by the Legion of Doom, after which Superman and Wonder Woman, when confronted by kryptonite and the stealing of a certain golden lasso, just say "screw it" and hightail it out of there, clearly with better things to do to each other in their minds.
Football superstar Neymar sharing the joy:
@mightus: Well alot of the high SM/WW posters are not here as much. But it's not just here, the SM boards (and character boards in general) are not getting posted as much as well
Interestingly when asked who was Superman's perfect match Henry Cavill actually did not commit to an answer.
Seems he's at least aware of the fact there is a new status quo in comics and it has a fan base. Else one would assume he'd just dismiss Diana and say of course Lois. And as for Henry's suggestion that Clark needs Lois to ground him. . Erm, no Henry. Nonsense. Clark was raised by a good human couple, he lives as an everyman Clark Kent, has connections with human by his own choice...to suggest Lois alone keeps him connected to us is 90ties crap. Stop trying to undermine the character's morality and innate goodness and his love of earth and its people. Mind you Zack Synder and Goyer created a lost boy Superman than the one who wanted to used his gifts for the betterment of humanity on his own steam and did not need lecturing by others to step up.

Until the Truth arc and the post-Truth arc are over, I don't believe we're gonna see a lot of chit-chat about those two.
There's a lot going on, in both their combined and separate lives/comics, to allow much talk.
It's like people are feeling the air. Waiting out the bad weather to see what comes next. Sunshine and clear skies, or freaking tornados.
It's quite clear that has a couple they're still strong. Stronger now than before in my opinion, but they both got things to deal with. And the road Superman is on now, who knows what will do to them has a couple. They might stick it out and overcome all that's being thrown at them or they might break for awhile, to come back together again.
At this time, I think people/fans are waiting it out. I'm sure Clois fans are privately hexing the hell out of the true power couple, and Clark and Diana fans are hoping they overcome all the hardship together and come out stronger than before.
We'll just gonna have to give it a little more time and see where this "road" is leading us.
Good choices! Loved the artwork.
It's always good to remember people, who is the real power couple.

Finally done with that map. Took forever but here's a more in depth map into what I would do if given the chance to do an animated series. ANd yes, the power couple does play a part in this series map.

These three drawings are made by an artist known as Tachibana
This one leaves me breathless.
@saintwildcard: And they scored number one. WOW!!! I was somewhat of a late person to find the New 52, but thanks to the audios some on youtube have made, it made it easy to hear the dialogue and narration of the comic but this is one thing I don't think that they got wrong.
So here's a little list, which I will admit is kind of one sided, as to why Wonder Woman was a smart pursuit for Superman. If anyone knows anything from the other side.
1) Unlike Lois Lane, she isn't going to hurt smacking Superman when he deserves it.
2) She isn't going to be a spectator and can actually help you.
3) If there's ever going to be another Superman rescue squad like in Trial of Superman, she'll WILL be the leader of it.
4) She can easily turn Superman back to good if he got mind controlled, like she did when he was under Circe's enchantment, possibly others. (less lethal contingency plan for a rogue Superman)
5) Makes clearing out Superman's rogues gallery easier.
6) Can make a working razor so that he doesn't have to burn his face with heat vision to shave.
7) Can do surgery on Superman thanks to magic blades
8) Superman can't go missing and she sure won't remain at home.
9) Superman can get pretty sternly corrected when he needs it (I have always heard so much argument about how Lois Lane was a foundation for Superman's morals, but let's get real, who wants to say that a woman with divine powers involving truth and compassion can't be?!!!)
10) If someone is your significant other, they might as well share plenty of your life with you, including superheroics. (Why do you think Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman work well together, or how about Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl?)
11) No need to put a mortal woman through the torture of you not growing old while she does (At least in the epilogue of JSA: Thy Kingdom Come they got old together)
12) Why not like a woman who appreciates both Superman and Clark Kent, and kind of gets what life as a superbeing is like?
Whoa. That's super!
@johnqestion: I always grew up with X-Men, Fantastic Four, and the Incredibles, all of which had super-powered, and quite human, women, so the idea that only a non powered woman can connect to humanity never made any sense to me.
Plus, if you lean on a spouse for morality, that relationship isn't good.
@press_oblivion: That's technically very good, well done, taste-wise I'm not so sure...

Yeah I know what you mean, I actually thought that I would catch a lot of flack for this or even see it removed. Thanks for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it. ;)
@press_oblivion: No Problem ;)
I'm not sure if this one has already made it here . . .

It's fun to imagine these romances between strange creatures (i.e., superhumans), and these two (Superman and Wonder Woman) are arguably America's strangest and most wonderful.
There are plenty of nice comic book male-female pairings of notable intrigue:
*Hawkgirl and Hawkman
*Batman and Catwoman
*Jean Grey and Cyclops
*Spider-Man and Firestar
However, Superman and Wonder Woman stand out in this arena, not only because they are the iconic symbols of comic books (male/female representative too), but also because they represent compatibility claims.
@abishai100: Don't forget Reed and Susan from fantastic four or Helen and Bob from the Incredibles, hell, wouldn't Superman and the whole family as a kickass super team be awesome for an Elseworlds story at least?
Neal Adams variants for Feb.
Superman/Wonder Woman #26. They face Vandal Savage and the Twins. And Diana as GOW is on Superman #49. Not impressed with Yang so far. So don't even know if he can write her at all. But two nice covers.
Awesome Arts! Found this one today and wondered if this is why Wonder Woman is so smitten with Clark . . .
Diana digs the pinchers!?! Lois's loss is . . . .

I honestly think Diana would be turned off by pincers too.
@super-wonder: Ewwwww.... That's just gross.
I don't see Clark or Diana as naive virgins either, I am pretty sure Diana knows what a normal Guy's package should look like too, it's not like she hasn't at least seen a statue by this point...

The Preview for the upcoming Annual- http://comicbook.com/2015/12/25/exclusive-dc-comics-preview-superman-wonder-woman-annual-2/#Image6
I like the cut of the Annual and think the writer and artist should take over. And yes, I'm fully aware I'm getting ahead of myself so I will wait till I back them 100%.
So I finally got around to reading Superman and SM/WW (both the regular issues and the annuals). I thoroughly enjoyed them all. Not great, but definitely some good stuff. If I had to rank them it be
1-SM Annual
2-SM/WW Annual
3-SM/WW
4-SM
Also, if you enjoyed the SM/WW annual, feast your eyes on this deleted scene.
@press_oblivion: it looks like he's trying to pop her boobs out of her top heimlich style.
