Well i have to say this is one of the main reasons i love the new52(and now i am waiting to be baned and hated from the comicvine community)!
This is a relationship that i wanted to be explored in continuity since i read Action Comics #761 and Kingdom Come they always had feelings for each other as seen in "For the man who has everything" and in President Lex(i dont know the issue )
They are a perfect couple and for those who will say it is like putting the No1 star of your football team together with the lead cheerleader!I would have to disagree since the No1 star currently is batman and that relationship has already been explored!
Last but not least i don't want to see the Lois Lane/Superman okay i understand that they are meant for each other but it is still to early to put them together so let the man have other relationships before he gets engaged to the one woman he can't escape!
And because one pic equals 1000 words :
Here's an old drawing of mine that I did back in the 90's. I never got around to star spangling the end if it all.

@Squalleon: what comic is that from?
After doing some digging, I think that image comes from Superman #165
I found a plot summary here: http://www.supermanhomepage.com/comics/2001-post-crisis-reviews/c-review-2001.php?topic=06-sup165
That really looks like a kiss at the end there . . . naughty!

I've been a big fan of the SMWW pairing for as long as I can remember. So glad DC have made it official. I know there are plenty who state that Lois is Clark's destiny, or something like that. I completely disagree and see absolutely no reason why that should be the case.
This is the best couple in comics (and possibly pop culture in general) IMO
They look visually spectacular, whether they're bonding together or battling villains. Conceptually it makes 100 times more sense that these 2 would hook up ... as opposed to the retro status quo of Steve Trevor and Lois Lane (not that they don't have fond feelings for them obviously ... but as far as passion, love, lust, etc, these 2 would just naturally gravitate towards each other)
And in terms of plot and storytelling, I find the possibilities this couple has more exciting than the old status quo.
Well for me, let's say new 52 got me interested in Supes love life because I never cared for Lois much. No offence to those that like them but I feel the only reason is cuz that's all we've been fed and it's (imo) not the most exciting. It's standard superhero fare that frankly did not make Superman any more exciting. Clark pining over a Lois that ignores him for decades is not my idea of great romance. Steve. Boy, I never got what she saw in that guy, who was the male Lois ignoring Diana for WW. Even now with the reboot. He's like a sad sack, blaming WW for everything. It's kind of dickish. I like the fact WW can go off to save the day with him as we have seen in JL. I like the fact that she is a strong willed warrior to his ballsy social crusader. I think we'll have a lot of passion/sparks and even disagreements (which is good) between them but they both compassionate characters as well who seem to share a lot of similarties. Plus yeah, stories! Stories we have not seen. There's been a flood of awesome new 52 art of them kicking around. First one is a b&w by cliff chiang but colors tossed on by a fan.
@consolemaster001: It's not so terrible, though I'm sure it will be over before you even know it.
Aren't appreciation threads for appreciation and not for trolls to come and shout down how much they hate something? It's kinda dickish to do.

well said. trolls please gtfo
I was entirely against this from the beginning because it felt like just another reason to sell comics, but if they are serious about it, then I'm willing to see where it goes.
@deranged_midget: I agree. I'm skeptical of this idea. I mean it's weird not seeing Superman being completely in love with Lois but l guess like you said if they are serious...who knows.
Hey, here's a thought. In the future when Lois and Clark get together and he's honest about everything with her, do you think Lois is going to have inadequacy issues regarding the whole WW thing? That could be interesting. And don't even mention the awkwardness at the Watchtower Christmas parties. Watch out!
@rumble_man: Dude, that was so funny!
Anyway, I'm glad that the new couple have an appreciation page, I'm enjoying it so far.
You know what else is cool about this pairing? As some of the pictures show, like Chiang's in particular, Wonder Woman could just as easily be the dominant one in the relationship half the time. She is bold and strong, she can take the bull by the horns as it were. I just like everything about this pairing. I hope it becomes the status quo, but I do think other relationship options should be explored prior to them settling in for the long haul, just to tell the stories that are out there.
@catgirlofsteel: Personally, I just find it strange as Johns is the only writing who wants to see the two together. Diggle spoke his thoughts and how he adores Lois and it's pretty evident in 19th issue of Action Comics. Lobdell kind of goes along with it but he still had a strong dynamic between Lois and Clark a few issues ago. Lastly, Azzarello couldn't even care less what happens outside of his title, he doesn't even bring those outside matters into Diana's namesake title.
I feel as if Johns forced this upon the other writers with most of them not caring whatsoever. I can't say that I support it either but I would like to see what could happen.
I can't remember who designed this one, so ... my apologies to the person(s) who did.
I thought it was kind of sweet so here it is :)

Just thought I'd mention, there's another SM/WW Appreciation Thread on CBR in case anyone would like to swing by, say hello and leave a positive comment or post a pic, etc
Yeah, that would definitely be sad.
The Ultimate Power Couple deserve better than being used as a cheap gimmick.
I'm hoping their bond grows stronger after Trinity War
I may not see it now, but if they do end it after the Trinity War, THEN I will consider it a gimmick and a plot device. Which is kinda sad really.
I said this over at CBR, but if they end it at Trinity War then the Clark/Diana relationship will be remembered as one of the cheapest and pointless romances in the DC Universe. We'll see what happens.

The second pic is so mean :P
@press_oblivion: damn you I was just about to post that ; )
I didn't post the link to the Buzzfeed, you can take the credit for that still if it make you happy :D
how you think they'll help build a better universe with these two powerhouse dating.
OH wow, this lousy relationship went absolutely nowhere, had no meaningful plot and is about to end within a few months...I wish I could call it lame but it was predictable right from day one for those of us with actual brains.
It appears that there is trouble in paradise. . . .
Yay!
Lame, the New 52 is hurtling itself to absolute failure.
TRUTH
@deaditegonzo: failure?!I like superman/wonder woman

No, I agree with you 100%, but with this new information, its now stupidly obvious that this was only a gimmick, and they will be broken-up by the end of the Trinity War. You have people complaining about the reboot, and people complaining that nothing new or creative has been done, so nobody is happy. Its easy to make the regressive group happy, undo Flashpoint, but to actually make the New 52 WORTHWHILE and a success, DC would need to have the balls to offend some people, and try something completely new. I thought Wonder Woman + Superman could be one of those steps, but the whiners who only want the same old stories retold over and over seem to have convinced DC that we need 80 year old stories retold.
