Not that it will affect my decision on whether I buy this book or not, but what the hell kind of title is that?

Well Supes breaking chains is a classic pose of the hero but yes the title sounds more like a mini series or a story arc rather than an ongoing

Looking forward to Batman/Superman. Hopefully Unchained delivers, even if I'm not big on the name (Man of Steel is better by leaps and bounds).

@The Stegman: Yes, I'm well aware of Clark's... timeless tradition. Doesn't change the fact that this is the most unusual title I've heard for a Superman title in a while.

Man of Steel is so much more relevant and catchy than Unchained as a title name. And finally a release date for the title as of June 12th, 3 days after my birthday! Not that I'll be celebrating due to exams but it'll be a post exam treat. And if Superman is moving a mountain in this title I'll be hyped by that. Also shotgun that image for my new AV!

@Squalleon: Does it sound more like a mini series than an ongoing? A shame. But then again Lee's work can only be done in short bursts. Also I saw the word back up in there with Dustin Nguyen so it's a safe bet this title will be $3.99

MoS is a much cooler sounding title (and it doesn't have "Superman" in it, so it's less "crowded" (having 2 titles with that word in the name)), but I can understand that they wouldn't want it to be the same as the new movie, so less-informed people (sigh...catering to them once again...lol) would think it's in the same continuity. But I LOVE that cover & glad we have a date/title. It's making it feel much more real. Can't wait!

Jim Lee never fails to impress.

The New 52 Superman has left me quite... jaded. Still, Scott Snyder has been quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, Jim Lee is still one of my favorite artists and Superman is still my favorite hero so I'll be sure to check this out.

I hope it's an ongoing but it will most likely be a miniseries. As for the whole lois lane thing i hope they don't get together they need a bit more time apat. Also I want to see where DC take the Wonder Woman/Superman releasionship cause its a bit early to end it.
