It has to be something from the Phantom Zone and I'm guessing that's Zod or the Zoners. Also look at this image. You can make out a clawed hand on Zod. That's where I got the impression from.

I was thinking that the new guy, H'el looks like Match meets Doomsday. I seriously cannot wait to see how they handle this villian.

I may give the crossover a try

I'm looking forward to this crossover, its been a while since a Superman crossover happen. & I'm talking about the Superman books having a crossover with each other. PLEASE BE GOOD.

Awesome, new character.

Every once in a while a supervillan appears with such ludicrous levels of power

not even the COMBINED forces of Superman, Supergirl, Superboy, Powergirl,

Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman could defeat.

We're talking serious heaviest hitters here, okay?

Superboy Prime comes to mind, but there were others.

Now is the turn of H'El (the "El" suffix suggest a relation with the Supers),

another Kryptonian of "undetermined" origin. A dude stronger than Superman

(nothing much, really. In the last issues Kal had his butt served to him in a

silver tray too many times) smarter than Supergirl (seriously? have you read the

Supergirl title lately. Smart? Really? she didn't even picked up on English yet)

and more lethal than Superboy (again, Kon had also his ass kicked severely on

the last issues).

Not even the three of them together can deal with him? And he won't be able to

take over the world? Not so smart, then, savvy?

I only hope his demise comes in a reasonable way, not by a fortuitous series of

events our heroes have nothing to do with, as usual, like him being vulnerable

(surprise!) to cream corn.

But I'm sure it will be lame. Mark my words.

Yeah, Superboy is pretty good. There are a few little elements that fall flat in some issues, but for the most part it's a great read.

Personally from what information has been given out this guy most closely resembles Match, to me at least, more than Bizrro or Prime.

It's a good thing we have DCnU and it not having any cross-overs

tis only 3 issues I can afford that.

The "S" scar on his chest reminds me of Prime.

IF this is the new take on Bizarro, I can handle it but a new ''S'' Kryptonian....after we have Zods and so forth...all I can say ''Meh''.

I honestly hope it doesn't suck but I'm keeping my expectations low on this one.

I understand Prime...But what about Broly? XD

Cause Broly is a very shallow and uninspired character. And this is coming from someone who USED to like Broly. Broly literally has no real motivation for going after Goku, seriously, making someone cry isn't a good reason, especially given both were babies. if anyone he should hate it should be Vegeta cause his dad stabbed in the gut, but no it's Goku. Ugh. He's also a big dumb tank who hits people really hard, He's basically a dumb version of Bojack. And for all his hype he got beaten by a half dead SSJ powered by his half dead base friends, a couple of SSJ Kids, a Weakened SSJ, and a dead SSJ who may have or may not have been there to begin with and SEAWATER.

BUT I could tolerate him if not for his fantards who overblow his PL when he's nothing but a High SSJ level Tier threat at best.

Note this is a very, very abridged version of a post I made on him on a separate site a year ago. broly's not a bad character but he's sure as heck ain't a good one.

May have been the point of the movie, but once you've entered Doomsday level of territory of interesting character IE little or none at all. I simply don't care for the character. But I'm not as worked up over it cause, DB's been over for years storyline wise, Broly's a non canon movie character, and as I said he's not a bad character but can be entertaining if your just looking for a monster only but anything he's done Bojack has done better and has an actual character behind it, stock villain yes, but Broly was a stock monster type himself so eh.

Love the new Superboy and hope he doesn't get his arse handed to him. Not keen on the idea, I said it would be some sort of Kryptonian nonsense once more. But I'll reserve judgement until I see the story itself.
