Do you guys think that Red Solar Radiation should be one of Clark's weaknesses?

Since the only difference between them is the color and intensity.

Nah, it serves basically the same function as kryptonite...get rid of it.

At very least I would like to see its effect on Superman revised – red sun been simply absence of yellow sun; Kryptonians can’t replenish energy from it and slowly depowering.

    Agreed.
At the top of my mind I remember only Kelly using it that way.

No! It's a outdated idea. And it's wrong at so many levels.

It should be erased completely. He already has kryptonite to worry about, seeing that it comes in almost every color and each effect is only negative. No type of kryptonite has a positive effect, I'd call that being sh#t out of luck.

Comic book logic or science has superman absorbing energy unconsciously, that's why he can't fight off kryptonite.red sun energy should just block him from more energy, not block him from using his power he already has.

Course if someday superman learns to control his ability to absorb energy consciously then everything changes,no more weaknesses, and a huge boost in power levels

That's already what it's supposed to do but different writers will use it to varying effects when they see fit. It's best to just retcon the weakness away imo.

Well, it makes sense. Under a red sun, Kryptonians are just like us humans: normal. If Superman is exposed to red sun radiation, which is natural to kryptonians as opposed to intoxicating like yellow sun radiation, it will slowly make him normal.

It's a natural part of Krypton's planetary system and the way it affects Kryptonians is by making them like humans. So, it makes sense.
