I've recently started to read comics one I've read was Superman: Red Son it confuses me because Superman is the president of russia and he didn't land in Smallville/Metropolis and he didn't join the justice league and i think it might be a dream comic thingy.

For your answer, it is basically a D.C "What if" Comic, instead of Superman landing and being raised in America, he landed in Russia instead. The Red Son Tells what would have happened if he Landed in Russia, also Russia doesn't have a President,
