# Superman Prime One Million's power levels

#1 Posted by CalebHara (2421 posts) - -

This Superman Prime One Million, and immensely powerful Superman variant that sun dipped for 15,000 years when he was put in exile. Besides showing his god like powers off by one-shotting Solaris, and re-creating Krypton and Lois he is practically feat less. However, because of the way that sundipping works we can estimate how powerful this Superman really is.

You can do this by using the stats of the pre-52 Superman and multiplying them by how long he Sundips. Superman once sunidpped for 15 minutes, and came out 3 times as powerful. Assuming that this level of power never decreases or increases you can get vague calculations of how powerful this guy really is.

It has been calculated that Superman's standard lifting power should be around 6,600,000,000,000,000,000 Tons (6.6 Quintillion Tons) it is possible that he exceeds this capacity.

After Sundipping for 15,000 years, Superman P1M should be able to lift around 10,400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Ton (10.4 Octillion Tons) once again, it is possible that he exceeds that number

As for striking power, it has been calculated that Superman has been able to hit with the force of around 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10 Octillion megatons) as far as feats go this seems to be his most powerful strike.

That should put Superman P1M's striking power at around 15,800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 megatons (15.8 Undecillion megatons) of force. This makes sense, as he was able to one-shot solaris.

As far as speed goes, Superman has traveled at a speed of 17,000,000,000 (17 billion) miles per hour. Several times faster than the speed of light.

Superman P1M's speed should be around 26,800,000,000,000,000,000 miles per hour (26.8 Quintillion mph) long story short, he is potential one of the fastest beings in DC.

Superman's heat vision can reach the heat of the core of the sun. The core of the sun is 27,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit (27 million degrees F) This is around the temperature of hi heat vision... normally.

SMP1M's heat vision would be around 42,600,000,000,000,000 degrees fahrenheit (42.6 Quadrillion degrees F)

Finally, for durability, Superman has survived a Supernova, and ill leave it at that, the average Supernova hits with a force of around 10 octillion megatons. This means that his durability is almost identical to his striking power. According to physics, this actually makes sense.

This is just an estimate of how powerful Superman Prime One Million is. We'll never really know, but its cool to think about. Once again, this is just an estimate,i was bored. If you think this is wrong, don't hate me for it.

the stuff you said is understandable but my problem with the character is that he became god after a sun dip lol. at most he should be much stronger, faster, more durable, etc but his power set shouldn't have changed that much considering his body only allows for certain powers.

kal kent is dope though

He also broke through the source wall and has some of the powers of the presence (GOD) he can create entire universes, he trained under the presence swell. Plus he picked up every power he saw on his travels , ( he met the most powerful beings in the universe), he has the powers of a 5th dimensional being. He can literally come out of the comics and bash the writer supposedly. He is impervious to magic , and he has unbreakable armour and a green lantern ring.

Infinity more powerful than Silver age superman

#9 Edited by WIshIWasSuperman (1379 posts) - -

the only problem with all that is that he was only in the sun from the 700th century to the 853rd century. And he wasn't "exiled" he left the solar system towards the end of the 21st century because all of his friends and family were dead pretty much, and he left (presumably his son) Superman Secundus to protect Earth. His powers were already greatly enhanced upon his return and when he decided to live in the sun in a new fortress of solitude his powers made it the super sun that powered Kal Kent....

why do people not understand how powerful SP1G is !?!?!?!?!?!

You know, I get that Superman gets his powers from the sun. But am I the only one that has to call BS on the concept of "Sitting on the Sun makes a Kryptonian into God" Clark's not an energy sponge.

I remember some nice conspiracy theory that could have (theoretically) explained that part:

Is it just me or are SMPOM's powers way too much coming from a huge yet finite energy source aka the sun?

that's way too much power for a random alien. whats the point of his dynasty if he is already god?

I'm with you on that... not trying to be a hater but that's giving kryptonian potential wayyy to much credit

even the whole " I learned from the source" thing is too much. Why make an alien the most powerful being in the universe?

He is much more powerful than any metahuman.

Imagine Shazam fighting alongside all the other heroes while Solaris was basically swatting flies with them:)

Only S1M and SP1M did anything to Solaris.

Even then, EVERYONE awed at the magnificence of SP1M. He can just about do it all.

Sundipping for 15,000 years affords this Kryptonian more than godly powers.

#29 Edited by HeavenlyDarkDragon (570 posts) - -

I would say NICE JOB if most of your calculations were not based on feats shown in All-Star Superman.

Truth is, there's no way to know how powerful S1M was. The closest we can get to an idea is from another Superman, I'm refering of course to Kal Kent the official leader of the Superman Team and one of the JL Alpha members. He said he could jump from one planet to another planet, he was faster than a tachyon, stronger than a collapsed star (I'm assuming he was refering to a black hole), he had all the normal abilities of a kriptonian, he had twelve senses, one of which gave him magical powers, he was seen breaking through the time barrier with sheer brute strength, he had incredible psychic powers (to which point they never expecified), he's so smart that I don't even know if its the equivalent to 12th level intelligence or even beyond, he had quantum energy powers and was immune to kriptonite. Kal Kent had all this powers but even he said that without the Super-Sun, that was Superman-Prime fortress, some (if not most) of his powers would banish. He said that when Superman returned from his journey through the cosmos, that he had transcended and achieved a level of power that surpassed that of any of Superman's descendants. And this was before Superman-Prime decided to make Earth's sun into his fortress and leave humanity in the hands of his descendants, that he would offer suport if any of his descendants needed extra power but he himself would not act directly.

So unlike what you said, he was not forced into exile into the sun, but rather he chose to do so, because after being away for 70.000 years he no longer felt that he had a place in the Earth, with humanity.

Now if Kal Kent had all those powers and some if not most of those powers came from Superman-Prime sun, then we can speculate that Superman-Prime power levels where in a whole new dimension compared to any other. We can say that he's powers where at a omni-level. Where he could actually do anything and everything.

I've been out of comic books for a bit, but... Are you all arguing that absorbing part of the solar output of a single star for 15,000 years, certainly less than 0.00001% of it's lifetime, somehow imbues Superman with such power that he can create universes? You know universes that contain hundreds of billions of galaxies each of which contain hundreds of billions of stars themselves. Is that how science-illiterate writers have become?

#33 Posted by randell1985 (46 posts) - -

well hasn't it been said that Kal El is the reincarnation of the kryptonian god Rao. if that is true him sitting in the sun for 15,000 years may very well bring out his God like powers he inherited from Rao

#34 Posted by Minaruto (76 posts) - -

I don't think that's how it's supposed to be looked at. A short sundip made him very powerful.

Now, after all the years of learning, it must be that he can process that sunlight into making him more than he could ever be before. 15,000 years worth of it. His body make-up and capacity have taken on new heights and we get to see some of it. The math does not work anymore.

What's more funny is the fact that Hulk supposedly gets stronger the angrier he gets. Anger has a limit yet they make it seem limitless. Also being only a human exposed to gamma radiation and have that kind of power is just silly.

At least Superman was born different and superior to humans so there is that explanation.

he was actually born different his father experimented on him self when Bruce was born he was born differently because of said experiments

why do people scale off superman but not the other lanterns? if he has a lantern ring and all the power that provides then at bare minimum, supes prime is like hal jordan + silver age superman combined. and that in of itself is some crazy power

#45 Posted by Minaruto (76 posts) - -

The problem here is that you are saying something that is completely wrong.

He has powers gleaned from the very edge of space and time; that means he's no longer the same Superman that we know. That means his power set consists of more unknown powers from his travels. His body has likely changed as well and that "dip" is possibly permanent and he doesn't lose power any longer.

the stuff you said is understandable but my problem with the character is that he became god after a sun dip lol. at most he should be much stronger, faster, more durable, etc but his power set shouldn't have changed that much considering his body only allows for certain powers.

kal kent is dope though
