Supreme Marvel says:
"cpt_linger says:"Supreme Marvel says:"cpt_linger says:"Methos says:"nah... religion and Superman don't mix well... if i wanted to see a religious movie done well, i'd want Spielberg, the only person i trust to pull it off, to do a Preacher trilogy set of movies M"
not OVERLY religious. i just think it would be nice to have a few smart metaphors used in a movie instead of the same old, bad guy gets kryptonite, bad guy kidnaps loise, superman comes to save the day, almost gets defeated, finds out something new and saves the day. a satan character of some sort could really mess with his head, distrupt his powers even perhaps. i just think it would be cool because religion (god, satan and all that) is the only thing above superman. bottom line is they're all fictional :P"
so you want a magical being?"
you could say magical, but not overly unbeleivable. satan is beleivable to a point and there is a ton of mystical and metaphorical yet RELAVENT crap they could throw into this movie

i just want it writen well, so i don't get bored through the talking bits. like i did on the last one. but why didn't i get bored of Superman I and II?"
because christopher reeves is a gun. and it was the first time you'd seen superman in a live action movie, same as why spiderman and x-men got so much attention. they'll continue more spiderman in 2 or 3 decades, probably have awesome effects, but no one will care as much.
But just picture it... Superman vs. Lex Lucifer
Satan arises in search of the most evil person alive on the planet to take their form to reek havoc and bring balance to the amount of lives saved by superman. Of course, Kal-El cant resist, so he comes in to save the day, only to find its no ordinary Lex this time.
But if you're completely sick of lex luther, we can go for just plain old satan played by jude law or someone.
