My guess is that's why the army had Superman in custody, and those pics where it looked like Supes was saying goodbye to Lois.

So Supes willingly gives him self up so that Zod won't hurt anyone on Earth?

I think so, but Zod will probably reveal to Superman that he will use Earth for its resources and then Supes will save the world, and the Earth will love him!

I can't figure out why Zod would want Superman so badly since Zod already has an army. Not sure why Zod did not just hunt down superman since superman is probably doing good deeds every day and superman should be easy to find or maybe Zod is just lazy. Hopefully, Zod is not just trying to collect that $20 that Jor-El borrowed before Krypton exploded.
