I have notice the rise of a trend about Superman logo t-shirts. I find two-three people (boys and girls) who wear Superman logo T-shirts every day. Some of them even made their own version. Have you notice that?
It seems MoS really made people aware of Superman in a way or two.
Also thanks to @saint_wildcard for reminding me of this with his other thread he made about t-shirts :-P
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18939 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Superman Logo T-shirts back in style.
Thanks for the mention. I made my little cousin a fan by watching MoS, he now wears a Superman shirt and a Superboy shirt.
But maybe it's because of this article- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/10866021/Wear-a-Superman-t-shirt-to-boost-exam-success.html

I live in Greece, I don't think an article like that from a different country affected the stylistic decisions of so many people :-P. Plus I a hardcore fan and I see this article for the first time.
Never went out of style, people(non-comic fans) always ask me where I got mine and I have about 4 of them.
To be fair, mine aren't ordinary Superman shirts, they're artistic in their designs.
I also own these sweet ass Converse

Pics or it didnt happen
@saint_wildcard: Can't share pics, brah. =/
I see Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern shirts all the time - I've even seen a Flash shirt once.
But I'm the only person I know who's ever worn a Green Arrow shirt.
I was thinking the same thing.........on my way back and fourth to college ive seen groups and hordes of people with something superman related, mainly the t-shirts.......i think MoS had a positive impact on the general populace.

Maybe after the show or the movie.

I've seen more people wearing Flash Shirts than GL shirts, I've actually seen a lot of people wearing Flash shirts. Batman and Superman are pretty common, even before the movies.

I have several Green Arrow shirts. As you can probably tell the one in the middle I've had for quite a while.

That Year One shirt is amazing.
@xwraith: Thanks man. Bought that one last year in Chicago.
@longbowhunter: Would that be at C2E2?

Indeed it was. You may appreciate this. While I was there I commissioned this from Norm Rapmund.
@saint_wildcard: Damn those are really awesome man. On topic i've got a kingdom come superman symbol T-shirt and a silver one. Also got the superman belt buckle. And they are in style. I see them quite a lot.
Give me a Superboy hoodie all day.
This is really cool.
I saw loads of people wearing the Superman shirts before Man of Steel. It actually annoys me a little, since 90% of the people wearing them have never even seen a Superman movie, let alone read a comic. The number of times I've tried to start a conversation with somebody about their Superman/Batman t-shirt and they've had no idea what I was talking about...
Still, I guess it's pretty cool that Superman and Batman have such a huge reach that even people who haven't seen or read any of their stuff proudly wear their symbols on their chest.
The Superman Shield never goes out of style. People will still rock that Shield 100 years from now, I'm sure. It's just that iconic.
Not where I am from.
I barely saw a Superman shirt and now they are all over the place. And in all circles too. I am talking from my experience though so I don't know how are things elsewhere.
@squalleon: I guess since Superman is meant to be the most American superhero there is (apart from the obvious) the Superman thing may be mostly in America and other English speaking countries like Britain.
It's possibly a cultural reason for Superman shirts not being so in-fashion in places like Greece

Grant Morrison once said that it's mostly American writers who want to write Batman and it's usually foreign writers who want to write Superman...
I have a superman t shirt.
I have 3. I win
@saint_wildcard: IT WASNT A COMPETITION.

That's what losers say
@saint_wildcard: Interesting. I don't know if thats true but it will be interesting if it is. What does the European writers see in Supes that American writers don't? Its ironic that the American icon doesn't appeal to the American public. And also it makes some sense 'cause a good part of the hardcore Superman fans here on the vine aren't american either.
Well Superman is definetely more connected with the USA market than the Greek one. Its only logical that the Greek market was reminded of Supes after MoS since except from the small fanbase that is the comic book fans, the others didn't have anything to connect them to the character. And even if they never saw the movie, they definetely remembered the symbol, which is iconic, timeless and cool. Plus the geek culture is in an all time high in terms of relevance and being "in".
I have been wearing Superman shirts when they weren't 'in style', I have just about every superhero logo on a shirt from flash to gl to Wolverine's face

I wish I could remember exactly what he said. It was on a Fatman on Batman podcast. Someday I'll re listen to it
I own about 16 Superman-related shirts, and that doesn't even begin to describe my Superman collection of clothing and accessories :)
Everytime I see someone wearing a Superman T-Shirt in public, in secretly makes me like that person just a tiny bit more. Even if it's just some random stranger I don't know.
I myself own about 10 T-Shirts, a jacket, and bunch of other random accessories
