His first name is Kal, and his family's name is El. So it would be under E.

@0n1zuka: Ok ok so let me see if I got this right. Even the name Kal-El has a Hyphen in it its still counts as two words ?

@Kid_Omega_Prime: Yes, as odd as it may seem. Same with Jor-El, Mon-El, etc.

I think even though his House name is El, Kal-El is still one word. I've always pronounced it Kallel. I think when they call him Kal it's the equivalent to calling a person named Christopher, Chris.

If my logic here holds water then as each Kryptonian technically only has one name I think Kal-El would be in the phone book under K.

@0n1zuka: Ok so again even if a word has a Hyphen in it it still counts as two words ? So If Shang-Chi was in the phonebook his name would be under C and not S ? What About Hyperion I think his birth name is Zhib-Ran. That means he will be under R ? or Noh-Varr he would be under V not N ?

@Kid_Omega_Prime: Hyphenated words are one word, but if Superman put his name in a phone book, it would be under E since El is his last name. Same for Shang-Chi, Zhib-Ran, and Noh-Varr, if the second word is their last name.

Sorry about my earlier post, I was wrong about it being two words.

Ok here is the reason I asked its because i'm making a list of some of my favorite heroes and on the "K" section I need 7. 5 On DC and 2 on Marvel. So for for DC I have Superboy, Cosmic Boy, Ted Kord and Spartain. For Marvel I have Hellion and Kaine. Now if superman is in the "E" section I could add Starman (Thom Kallor) see my delema.

@Kid_Omega_Prime: Superboy could be in the E section as Kon-El, if you are trying to free up K room. Superman is in the House El, so El is definitely his last name. Making him under the E's if classifying by kryptonian name, or K for Kent if going by Earth name

@r3d_rob1n: Well I was going to put Superboy in the "P" section for Project 13 but I dissided to put him in the "K" section for Kent. I gess I could put Superman in the "K" section to but I would have to kick off ether Starman or Cosmic Boy ? Oh maybe Ted Kord and put a different human somewere else. IDK ? : (
