Hey guys. I'm mainly a Marvel guy, but have been wanting to check out some of the DC titles. Superman is easily the most interesting to me right now, but I don't know what the difference is between Action Comics, Superman, etc.

Could someone clarify the differences story wise? Which is the main Superman book, etc? Thanks.

@CTG: Action Comics is placed five years before superman

Grant Morrison delivered the origin and the first adventures of superman in his action comics run (ending with issue 18)

The Superman title was a complete mess until issue 12

I suggest you get the first volume of action comics which is great and wait for issue 19 of action comics when the new creative team takes over

Is there anymore information about Superman Unchained? I just know Jim Lee is drawing it, which is almost all I need to know to jump onboard.

Scott Snyder is writing the story

Dustin Nguyen does the art in the back ups

It is releashed in june.....i think thats all :-)
