I wanna see a story where Zod reveal himself as the biological father of Kal El/Clark/Superman.

I know it will never happen Whether it's canon or not

There kind of is a story where General Zod revealed he is a father…to Superman…Lor-Zod/Chris Kent…who became Clark and Lois's son…so…I MISS CHRIS.

I just really liked the idea of Clark and Lois finally finding a way to have a child together. It was a lot of character development for those characters which you don't see often in comics. Now we're back to square one with them never having even dated but I won't touch that topic:P. I'm just upset because it's going to be looooooong time before we see Chris again…if we EVER do.

Like Zod and Lara were having an affair or he assaulted her? Either way, it would be pretty dark for a Superman story. Mostly the Els (as well as the Kents and Waynes) are portrayed as saints.

Nothing against the new 52 but if you take time off of it for a little while to read Pre-52 stories, you won't really be missing anything. Anything that "happens" you can catch up later on or read via here. It's a lot more enticing to experience what real good stories are from DC first hand than just read about them via wiki.

How good is godfall? and whats it about?

Godfall is one of those stories that really polarizes people. Alot of people seem to hate it and alot of people seem to love it. Whether or not you like the story line though, I personally think the art was gorgeous. The story was illustrated by late great fan favorite Micheal Turner.

I don't want to spoil the story for you, but it starts out with Kal-El as a regular Kryptonian government official working in Kandor married to a woman named Lyla. Part of the fun of the story (for me at least) is trying to figure out what exactly is actually going on. I definitely recommend this story.

okay I must read it now, looks intriguing to say the least, plus I love krypton

Since we're in a new era dark and gritty is expectable, and the New 52 Supes would fit right in.

@onemoreposter: the art is good, I just hated the story. You're right, it is polarizing. Also, they kind of set if up for a sequel that never happened.
