Well, they turned Buffy into a comic book, right?

Yes, i think that is the route they should have taken with Smallville season 11. Althought Smallville was once a comic book and that didn't do too well so maybe that played a part in the decision.

I wonder how it will be received as a novel.

Maybe but just for curious, because my principal reason to have seen Smallville were for Tom Welling :D

Wait, is it going to be a book or a comic?

A book as in novel, not comic, at least not right away. I can see them turning it into a graphic novel interpretation if the novel does well. Lois & Clark also had a novel but I'm not sure if that came out while the show was still on tv or afterwards.

The novel came out in 1996 after the third season. Just before its final season.
