i'm about to finish a smallville marathon and want to continue to the season 11 comic. as my as i love the series i wanted to ask if the comic writing is suck just as much?

@yotaman: ok, so I enjoyed Bryan Q. Miller's Batgirl series so I was really excited when I heard he was going to do Smallville. I should say right off the bat that I stopped at issue 9 so I don't know how the rest of the series is. For me it didn't feel like smallville for some reason it felt more like a regular superman comic. Its not that bad but it's just "meh" if that term makes any sense. It is better than the "Superman Beyond" series (if I had my way I would cut that series out of Batman beyond unlimited and put Smallville in its place).

some of the stuff miller did was interesting so maybe you would enjoy it. I would try out the first two issues just to see how it feels for you. I just wasn't crazy about it...

The comic does not suck at all, even people who were not too fond of the show love the comic, it's probably better because you can do more things in a comic with a lesser budget.
