Do you think that the New 52's Superman will be the strongest reincarnation of Supes after the Blood Moon tease? I think that Supes power has been nerfed during the reboot, could we get the strongest Supes after the Blood Moon?
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18940 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Question Regarding the Blood Moon
@saint_wildcard: Pre New 52 I guess, it only shows 4 incarnation of Supes.
@saint_wildcard: He really looks like Cavill
Future's End is finally paying off
@saint_wildcard: He really looks like Cavill
I guess, but he looked more like Cavill on that Earth 2 cover
@saint_wildcard: This superman the one we the beard, I hope we get the pre 52 feats before the Darkseid Wars so Marvel fanboys will be pissed in the battle forums.
@vinomonster: Love that page, favorite single page of mine to come out of FE.
I am so far behind on Future's End. I know who the masked Superman turned out to be, but what's the deal with Superman? And is this supposedly canon (eventually)?

It's not explained yet, but he did something during the war that he regrets. Some speculate that he had to close the portal from Earth 2 leaving people stuck in there. I'm assuming it will be explained in issue 25. And from what I understand this is what could happen 5 years from now if things keep going the way they're going. So it's semi canon I guess.
What is blood moon? I'm lost.
Not explained yet, but I guess it could symbolize the end
I guess the Godhead Arc will eventually turn into a Darkseid Arc will change the story of the current issues. Futures End might turn into a canon if that happens.
@vinomonster: is that robot brainiac ?
@z3ro180: Yes its brainiac
Possibly. But who knows. Futures End has shown if anything that the current timeline isn't going to turn out that well.
I'm more interested to know who the well is behind Brainiac and Brother Eye.
From what I've been able to understand from the info given so far in FE is that there's this force/presence/whatever that not only has knowledge of the previous dc timelines, but that in fact "it" has driven characters like Brainiac and Brother Eye to achieve some outcome. The finale of Superman Doomed #2 was very enlightening and at the same time rose a lot of questions.
The New 52 Superman is already by far much more powerful than previous versions, with the exception of the silver age of course, but in this fight I don't think that that will be enough. This is an enemy that seems to pre-date many of DC timelines, and has such, power alone might not be enough. Not unless some critical piece comes into action.
I'll wait and see.
