@saintwildcard:
I got to say. I love it.
No more holding back. Because now, there's no holding back.
Although I was relieved in a way. In the end of issue #42, the sound they had drawn, it left me wandering "Holy S***! Has Superman miscalculated the strength of the punch and cracked the guy skull??". It's good to see that it was most likely just the guy jaw, and teeth breaking.
I know some people are having trouble adapting to this punch first, ask questions later, Superman. But then again, what's he gonna do!? Hold back? If he holds back someone else might get hurt because he held back.
I guess in Truth we're gonna see a lot of "It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission".
Not that I'm complaining. Truth, for better and for worst, has caught my attention in a good way.
Superman current state will enable him, to able a good look at humanity from the ground prespective. Meaning... He'll now see the fruits of his labor for all his years of service and self-sacrifice.
It isn't just Superman actions being scrutinised, humanity actions as individuals and as a whole will also be.
