Google it. Henry and Snyder don't want to stretch themselves and the only other movie in Warner's pipeline is he Batman reboot. Warner is too afraid in taking risks. They don't trust their characters. Sad, but true.

If it's well written, then that's exactly what I want. I have read All-Star Superman. I don't want it to be a film. It's better as a one-off comic. You can't make a summer trilogy off that. The only real drama is that you know Superman will die in the end. It's too fantastical with sphinxes and whatever. I prefer the grounded approach.

It was a good trailer, but not a lot better than the last trailer honestly, why is everyone so hyped ?

I watched this five times and each time I found something more awesome that got me more excited.

@sentryman555: I think its just the style of trailer theyre going for. All of the trailers so far have only had very small snippets of dialogue mostly from Jor El with a bit of Pa Kent and Lois Lane. General Zod has only had I think one line as well. The trailers are relying on the score and the visuals to draw you in and in my opinion its working pretty dang well! This way its also minimizing the spoilers in the trailers.

I'm sure Superman Fans will love this movie. Everybody else, I'm not so sure. Will it make more money then Iron Man 3, not even close, but as long as it does better then Superman Returns, it should be OK.

I don't see why people are complaining that these trailers and TV spots are spoiling the movie, most of them are all showing pretty much the exact same stuff with a slightly different edit. They haven't given away much in the way of plot or story

Yeah on Fandango. That's doesn't represent the Global Market. IM3 already passed 1 Billion Worldwide. No way MOS is coming close to that. I think it will be a miracle if it breaks 500 million worldwide.

@nakobass: It does not represent the Global Market cause the movie is not yet out and there is no way to judge however it represents a trend and looking at past movies it shows the movie is going to do extremely well in the box office.

Also if another fast and furious can surpass 500 million worldwide I don't see any reason why SUPERMAN, the most iconic superhero and second most recognized symbol world wide can't.

@z3ro180: With Zod being rumored as DLC I don't see why not. It's a perfect cash in opportunity for DC. It'll be even more awesome if Cavill voices Superman for the MOS skin.

Did anyone else see that Krypton DIDN'T explode? And that Kal-El was sent to Earth because he's an abomination child since he was born by natural means rather than artificially? And thats why he was sent to Earth because he would have been put to death because he wasn't born like every other kryptonian?

THATS a major change to Superman's origin that ISN'T good.

I hope I'm wrong but I see it in the trailers and from the rumors of it.

This. I've said this before. I haven't seen a character with such a huge lead role, take such a backseat in these trailers. Its beginning to worry me, everyone seems to be doing the talking for him. I do think this movie will be fantastic, but this is just one critique I have for the film. Which may not even be right when it comes out.

I'm not a fan of superman but this movie looks awesome. Really looking forward to it.

Also, I agree that they have revealed so much footage. I wish I hadn't watched all of the trailers. I fell like i've already seen every major plot point in this film. Hopefully there's still much to be seen.

@novi_homines: That's also what worries me too. Kevin Costner seems to be putting on a great performance. Even Rusell Crowe appears to be giving his A game in this but it's not gonna mean much if Henry Cavill can't carry himself. Like you said though when it comes out we might be completely wrong and Henry Caville could be the greatest Superman ever.

@noj: I get that and believe me all the action and everything definitely has me hyped. But It just seems odd to me with besides fighting, the very minimal look we've actually had of Superman in these trailers. Though I think they're holding off on Zod because they messed up with Bane's trailer footage. One of his most remembered lines was in a trailer so that kind of took away from hearing it in theaters.

@flashdamn: No it wasn't. That was speculation and contradicts what is being said now. And a shred universe could just be Superman and Batman.

Anyway it was already stated a long time ago that Man of Steel will start the shared universe that will ultimately lead up to Justice League, I think there was already a script leak on it, but the script got reworked due to quality issues (People thought it was bad).
