We’re going to have some Supermen arrive on Earth which I guess would put pretty much any Superman scratching his head going what the hell are they doing there because "it seems to me I’m the Superman", and so we set up our story that way.

We’re going to include a lot of Jack Kirby’s Apocalypse characters, New Genesis characters and delving into that Jack Kirby contribution that everybody seems to either ignore or messed around with or mess it up, I’m taking my crack at it. I hope I won’t be the guy to continue the messing up of Jack Kirby’s legacy.

Guys, do you think that this somehow related to rumors about appearance of Pre-New-52 characters in 2015?

He said "we set our stories that way'', so is he writing it alone, with his editor, a partner?
I don't know if he is a good writer, I think his Batman:Odyssey was considered awful. At least it will have some good art!

Yah, the New Gods and Superman have a relationship in the N52. I thought they were going to keep them away from Kal.

Is this going to be non canon like Batman Odyssey? Or is it a New 52 canon story?

Peeps, I'm 95% sure this was shot down as nothing more than a wildly-spread rumor

If DC reboot next year I hope they make a superman that combines both the good of pre 52 And new 52 superman. So he is still young but the personality and characteristics of pre 52 Supes and his costume is along the same way as the smallville suit.

Yup I think it's actually a war between Earth 1 and 2 (It's heavily hinted in Futures End).

This could easily be terrible.

Then it was one persisting rumor lol. I heard about it for two years straight – “there will be some big event in 2015 involving characters from both Pre-New-52 and New-52”.
