So Convergence is suppose to be about all of these realities mixing together. Well... what if after all is said and done they are in a completely new world where Superheroes never existed? So now you have a Diana Prince without Amazonian back up, Superman without his fortress of solitude to make his clothes. No pa and Ma kent to even sew one together and while superman abilities are many. I am not sure if the New 52 Superman knows how to sew. For Batman, maybe he's injured and using such an armor as a crutch in the mean time. Nightwing new look blend in their new contemporary world. Flash costume is made by his speed force so maybe he can actually make himself a legit one. Green Arrow suit have always been more casual.

So maybe the reason why Superman is looking so grungy because he is literally homeless. However, he still want the "S" to mean something and like someone said, when he wear black that's mean he's in mourning. Maybe he is for his old world? As for that look with Diana, maybe she is adjusting better than him and now superheroes are showing up.

Just a theory on why it is name "Truth." of all things.

I posted this a few minutes ago in a PM:

I've been thinking; what if the Superman we're seeing in June's solicits isn't Clark at all? What if it's the return of Superboy Prime? DC said that they've wanted to do a complete status quo change post Convergance, and what better (well worse) way to do it than bring back a villain we haven't seen in years? That would explain the color change in his symbol, the buzz cut and the outfit as a whole resembling Connor -- and to top it gives off a VERY c**t-y vibe much like Superboy Prime always does.

That could also be why the new Superman crossover is called 'Truth' (discovering who really IS Superman) and happening literally one month after a "major Multiversal crisis" (because we all know how SBP stories tie into those).

Sorry to disappoint you but your theory has many holes. It could be just as well be swiss cheese :P

• A storyline like that would be at least a company wide event not only a Superman event.
• Snyder said his storyline is a direct follow up of endgame
• Wonder Woman will continue fight Donna troy and the amazons based on solicits.
• Hal is still hunted and a renegade lantern

I think many people are making a snow ball into an avalanche.

The drawing might have been made specifically to lead people away from what they're really preparing.

And even if it proves to happen, it might at best just be a temporary thing. An aftermath of whatever Convergence is really for.

So let's chill and hope for the best while being prepared for the worst.
