@rich711: Only one film Snyder has made has flopped
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18886 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Man of Steel - 'Fate of Your Planet' Trailer
@turoksonofstone: ok shitbag
@turoksonofstone: ok shitbag
OK if the trailers don't "move" you I accept that some people are not so easily moved. I myself was not quite so "moved" by the teaser trailer, but I find it quite hard to believe you are in fact a Superman fan as you say when the first words of your first comment were "LMAO. I hope this movie fails." I find that to be total BS.
And this is the golden question... What superman fan hopes a movie about superman fails
EXACTLY!!! Thanks @rjohnson89 he had me so dumfounded I left out the Golden Question! lol
How can I want Man of Steel to fail and still be a Superman Fan?
Simple. I am a fan of Jerry Siegel's & Joe Shuster's Superman as depicted for the majority of his existence panties and all.
I think all the current changes to Superman and DC at large suck.
New 52/Man of Steel Superman is a different character.
just cause' I dig Batman or Superman as Characters doesn't mean I have to like every or any adaptation of him.
I kind of get what he says, I like Dragon Ball, but when Evolution was announced, I hoped that it will fail, mostly because if that film was a success (Which hopefully it wasn't) then DBZ would probably be made into a big screen piece of poop.
That and also Transformers (I just didn't like it for some reason, mainly for the explosions and the explosions), for some reason people think I'm stupid for believing the Cartoon Classic Transformers is superior to the movies (Which it totally is)
This will be the best movie of the year!
And I really hope we get to see Snyder direct a Justice League film! I just love the level of realism in DC's Superhero Films. They should keep making them this way to differentiate themselves from Marvel.
5 league members would feel so incomplete.
EPIC.
YOUR PLEASANTLY PLUMP SELF ONLY KNOWS ONE THING!! AND THAT'S THE FASTEST WAY TO DEVOUR A MEAL!!
@turoksonofstone: ok shitbag
@turoksonofstone: How do you know he's an entirely different character if you haven't seen the movie yet?
@turoksonofstone: Every trailer makes the movie look better and better.
LMAO. I hope this movie fails. It looks like it may go a step further and just Bomb.
All these trailers smack of desperation.
What a stupid remark. I don't get people wanting something to fail. Being apathetic to something and not minding if it succeeds or not, I would understand. But wanting something to bomb? Really?!?!?! Saddist much?
I'm torn as I will see it but im probably gonna nit pick at the fact krypton isn't destroyed.....but I'm probs gonna be blown away by it....
this June
you will believe a man can fly...................in 3D
I won't lie, this trailers kind of overdo it a little bit. I understand they want to be young, hip and cool, but somehow this movie looks a bit gaudy. I don't know. Something just feels off about it. Perhaps it lost some of its Superman charm.
@doombot890: Krypton is destroyed and the girl with perry is jenny olsen,Jimmy's sister,so its not like he doesn't exist...hope that made it better for u :)
just went back and saw this one,oh man those few lines from Jonathan(Costner) made me well up.
This film has huge potential. Finally, a DC movie that actually looks like it can not only compete with, but outsell a Marvel summer blockbuster. Bought my advance screening tickets last week...now there's just the wait.
LMAO. I hope this movie fails. It looks like it may go a step further and just Bomb.

Shouldn't post at all then if you feel that way.

I'm not going to argue with your opinion...as we are each allowed to have one.
However, I can never understand how people cannot accept change...especially to this extreme...where you're actively wishing for someone (more than just one person actually) to fail.
LMAO. I hope this movie fails. It looks like it may go a step further and just Bomb.

This pretty much just gonna ignore the negative comments

If I may cut in:what I want more than anything is to see a GREAT Justice League movie. Marvel's Avengers had 6 heroes, one of which was basically a glorified cameo. And that was with set-up films. DC has a lot more to explain by introducing such different heroes. They should not do more than 5 heroes. Any more would just be cameos that take time away from the main characters, who are supposed to be sold to audiences for individual movies. It's not like the characters who don't show up couldn't be in the next film or couldn't have their own films right afterward. Just look at Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. I mean, not even the cartoon or any of the comics can use more 5 characters without making every character over 5 a side character. That's just storytelling mechanics. And I want every DC to get QUALITY time, not just some forgettable cameo like in Ocean's 11. That's what made the Avengers so great--every character had time to both develop and shine. That's one of the things Justice League should borrow.
You're probably talking about how it won't emotionally feel right, but it would be fine with me. It would be badass to have Martian Manhunter and/or Aquaman in a post-credits scene though.
I hope my response didn't come across the wrong way. I just really want a high quality script that maximizes our time with every character--not just making it a Superman/Batman movie with cameos. That's what sucks about so many of the X-Films. It's all about Wolverine.
This movie will be epic. So epic, that it will rip me a new hole. My anus is prepared and ready. Take me as I am, Superman. No homo.

I hope you bite your tongue once it comes out.
HEAT VISION THAT LOOKS LIKE HEAT VISION!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!
1:30ish - Kinda looks like Snyder decided to throw in a squid since it was omitted from the Watchmen :-)
