TRUTH will be a story shared between the four titles featuring Superman(all 3.99 titles btw). Making the Superman line unaproachable for new readers who want to try Superman by forcing him to buy all the titles to get the full story.

Kinda undermines DC's goal in June.

I am exited for this event though. The covers have me intrigued as to what is going to happen.... if the story is properly explained I'll tolerate the new look, but as long as it's temporary

Being said, this creative team is better than the last one that did a Superman event. I'm willing to give them all the benefit of the doubt.

Hopefully it doesn't last longer than 1 issue for each title...but yeah, it totally ruins what DC is trying to start here, but at least it's only a superman family tie-in, no other titles.

As some people stated, I think this event is about his powers not being in their peak, which would explain the bloody knuckles. Or at least I hope it's that and he doesn't become more brutal. Looks aside, the covers do have me interested even though they are pretty simple. Cover wise I like the SM/WW the best, but I find it's solicit the most annoying (more testing!).

Doubt it's gonna last one issue. But yeah, I can see where new readers might be put off by it.

Have they said that you need to read all of the books to get the full story?

The covers seem to suggest that these stories aren't really intertwined. But then again, that's just the covers and they are super simple ones at that.

Even if they go the Doomed road. The story will still feel incomplete without the other parts.

And its a shame really because even I, a hardcore fan, I can't afford all those titles. And I am not willing to drop all my favorite series to do DC's favor. Or not pick up some of their new titles that look great btw.

AC was always 3.99, Superman became when Johns and JRJR came on board.

B/S and Sm/WW were always 3.99.

That crossover will cost 15.96 dollars alone. And to a fan like me who has to order them from US they will at least cost 24 EUROS.

@squalleon: I only read Superman now anyway; add JL and that's the extent of my June. =)

I currently read Superman, Ac, Multiversity, JL and Grayson from DC.

I want to try some of those new titles since Multiversity is ending and I will not buy any Convergence titles. So I will save up some money. Its just a shame though for the first issues to be a crossover, I don't want to waste all my money on Superman titles. DC actually has put me into a dillema. I would go for some of their more unknown properties but now they force me to buy the titles that will sell anyway.
I guess I will see how the crossover will play out and the quality of the issues and I will buy only the nesseccary. Trade wait is out of the question since DC's trade schedule is a mess.

@squalleon: I meant the Superman line. Action, Superman, B/S, SM/WW and JL. I dropped WW ever since the Finchs took over, sadly.

This....and don't worry: the costume AND the haircut WILL be temporary.

Which post-convergence titles you intent to pick up?

@squalleon: The same. If DC gets someone else on WW I might return, but, as it is, I can't spend money on it.

I might check out JLA if the reviews are good.

I’m not exactly exited for it, but call me curious anyway. Think that I already stated my great dislike for “identity at stake”-stories, but excluding short loss of “human Clark”-persona in early AC, I am really wondering what can be done with such storyline on such big (crossover in 4 titles) scale.

I'm dropping all Superman family books because of this crossover, can't afford to follow another Superman event where you need to read all the books to understand what's going on. Nor do I want to see Superman lose his Clark Kent persona, which is basically his humanity and connection to the human race.

With Ma and Pa dead and him being with WW, currently Superman has little human supporting cast. Lana is a super-hero at this point and the DP can't be featured if Clark can't blend with them.
