We all know the Flash is the fastest being on the planet but how does the list go after him? Does Superman take the 2nd spot or is someone else on the planet faster than him?

Kid Flash, Reverse Flash, Johnny Quick, Jesse Quick, Max Mercury etc etc

Every character called Flash is faster, to Captain Atom speed is an illusion he doesn't see. Then you have the villains who's shown up to be faster than Supes, like H'El.

Any character that derives their speed by tapping into the speed force is potentially in the no.1 spot of fastest beings, barring that imo full powered kryptonians are the second fastest beings on earth.

Since we're on speed, is Krypto faster than Superman? Since you know, they do have a dog & human relationship, and we all know how a speed test would go between a dog & a human.

@ariesxmasters: More than halve of those characters don't exist in the Dc universe and Quicksilver wishes he was as fast as Superman. I could debate the Sonic characters and the Dbz characters but that seems like a bad idea.

Annnnh Quicksilver is as fast as he needs to be, to be faster. If Superman and Quicksilver were to actually race Marvel would just up Quicksilver speed so he could stomp Superman speed wise, they'd look like foolish not to specially when that is what the character is all about.

I didn't even see you said only from the DC universe. Well regardless the top 4 character I name could still beat Superman in a race. So no he is not the second fastest, he's not even in the top 10 IMO ad least on paper.

Technically, Zoom doesn't count. He's not moving substantially fast. He's just screwing with time relative to himself.

Pretty sure Shadow can only move like that because of his special shoes.

Are you referring to pre-Flashpoint Bart Allen or Bart-Tor? Because while you have a case for Bart, I'm not so sure about post-Flashpoint.

@ariesxmasters: Quicksilver is not as fast as he needs to be he is consistently slower than Superman. if Marvel and Dc had a race Dc would never agree to let Quicksilver beat Superman ever. You may not believe Superman is in your top 10 but if you believe Quicksilver is you need to rethink your list.

I'm referring to New 52 version of everyone. New 52 Reverse-Flash would beat New 52 Superman. It has nothing to do with Shadows shoes, Scounter, Shadow is just faster. I'm talking about New 52 Bar Torr the one with the Teen Titans he would beat Superman as well.

So for now Superman is 6th fastest IMO, but when Wally gets his powers he would be 1 or 2 which would move Superman down to 7th

@ariesxmasters: It is from the New 52 just go have a look in his capability thread they have a bunch. Also undefined speed is slower than a persons speed that we can figure out.

@theamazingimmortalman: I don't count Jay since he is in another universe. So Superman is 5th fastest in his own universe which is not bad if you ask me.

None of those feats tell his exact speed though in the narration box.

This is probably Quicksilver best feat to date.

@ariesxmasters: I don't think that feat can compare with Superman being able to fly to the sun and back.

@ariesxmasters: I am a fan of Pietro and I do think he gets underestimated a lot, but there is no way he is faster than Superman. That issue itr said he got across town in a few seconds and Supes goes to other planets in that amount of time. Superman escaped a black hole, I'm pretty sure (with my not so scientific mind) you have to travel FTL to escape a black hole.

The thing about the feat of Superman flying to the sun is that there is no specification on how fast he is going. Like if is take him a second to get there then he is like faster than Flash which we know he is not. The OP saying Superman went 320 times faster than light is complete speculation no where does it say specifically how fast he is going.

@ariesxmasters: Superman has a feat where the writer said he was at the end of the universe(yes stupid I know) and it clearly says it took him 2 months to get back to earth.

Kid Flash, Reverse Flash, Johnny Quick, do, don't know about their limits though.

If Superman is able to go other planets in a few seconds than he is like faster than Flash which again we know he is not lol. It took Flash more than a few second to finish this and you can tell because the enemies are finishing sentences. I can post more like this if you're not convinced.

I could say Quicksilver was too. See? No where on neither of the feats that I have presented does it say "Flash was going his fastest", or "Quicksilver was going his fastest".

@ariesxmasters: You could however none of the scans you posted come close to matching the speed we have shown Superman can move at while others can post scans of Flash either outracing Superman or moving faster than him. Anyway it doesn't matter this discussion is between Superman and Quicksilver stop avoiding the issue and bringing Flash into it.

Just when he arrived in forever evil. But he is technically not from that earth. It kind of sucks that him and flash never got to fight. Actually none of them really got to fight their counterparts.....
