Like steel armor is affected by a steel mace id imagine
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18939 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Is superman affected by KI/Chi...?
Kryptonian abilities are connected to their Chi's, recent Supergirl has Kara training under master I-Ching to control her amped powers. It sounds pretty cool to me.
I'm not sure Kenan is really representative of American Superman's powers. I mean I've never seen Clark use that Iron Fist-pastiche technique that Kenan has.
Ki/chi is not any form of magic. In DBZ, it's a physical manifestation of their spirit energy. Fighting power. Powerful in the Z universe, but I honestly don't see it harming or killing Superman, tbh. Especially since he's shrugged off multi busting, top tier level attacks on more than one occasion.
Maybe. It was hypothesized by Lex Luthor that Kryptonians have a weakness to Chi. Not because it’s magical. Because Kryptonian Powers are fueled by the Sun’s “Celestial Energy” And Ki is earthly “Terrestrial Energy” Luthor hypothesized that Chi could weaken or Kill Superman. We never see this demonstrated, but he was confident enough that he built a machine to harness the Chi of earth itself.
@tuxedogreymon: That being a theory unfortunately makes your comment pointless, ultimately.
Chi/Ki is physical and not magic but there is a boundary between Chi/Ki and the soul and a soul is something mystical.
